Good evening everyone this is my precious babygirl Jesse Jane. I call her that cause she has a side that likes to cause a lot of trouble. She if a pure breed Blue Merle Great Dane. My childhood friend breeds them and gave her to me as a gift. She is one year and and nine months old. She is so spoiled and such a huge baby. I knew Great Danes where big but I was not ready for how fast she would grow and how big she would be. And one of their traits is they lean on you to show you love and that they trust you. Now I do not know about you but having a 130lb dog lean against you first thing in the morning catcher you off guard lol.
This is her when you was like two or three months old. She would always beg to get on the bed and you would have to help her up. Well one day I walk out of my bathroom and there she is all on her own. Rolling around on the bed like a wild women and grabbing all the pillows and covers and shaking them to death. So now the name Jesse Jane makes perfect sense right? So I asked her what she was doing and she woofed at me. And then she jumped down off the bed and ran to the living room and we had to have a little tug-o-war. Her tail which at the time was way to long for her body was wagging the entire time. After about 15 minutes she was tired out and ready for a nap. It is moments like that we think of as the grow older and get bigger. We are like where did our puppy go.
This was her giving me the evil eye because I did not share my turkey sandwich I had for lunch with her. That is another thing I was not ready for at all. Her having to eat four times a day and it isn't like it is a small amount. Her favorite human food is shredded chicken with a plain bake potato chopped up in her bowl. After she eats she walks up to you licking her chops and gives you a little touch with her nose like she is saying thank you for my food. If you know much about Great Danes their flaps are huge and droopy. So after she takes a drink from her bowl if she walks away right after she is done you can follow the water trail that has dripped from her flaps. That is a really good time on a tile floor when it is nighttime lol.
And my last picture is of her passed out because she was outside running so hard. We live on five acres so when I let her outside to potty she loves to go for her run and pull grass. And roll around in the grass. When she is running full speed and goes by you she sounds like a horse ran past you. And to my surprise for her size she is extremely fast and agile. But due to her size I have to stop her after a while as it takes a long time for her to cool off afterwards. If it was up to her she would just run and run. I just want to thank you very much for stopping by and reading about my precious girl Jesse Jane. I hope you and your pets are having a wonderful day.
