Another week out in the Southwest and another urgent email asking for help getting a beautiful Brittany Spaniel from Oklahoma to a new home in Nevada. Seems a 4 year old rescued Brittany named Dixie needed a ride 🚗
TRANSPORT ROUTE - Nixa, MO to Henderson, NV Saturday & Sunday, Feb 5-6, 2022
Unlike most of my transports in the past I didn't have any history of how Dixie ended up as a rescue as she was very sweet but maybe just had the misfortune of not having a caring family or maybe a medical issue.
All that mattered was that the Brittany rescue had stepped up and found the sweetie a new home.
We met Dixie on her trip from the overnight in Albuquerque at our familiar spot at the Kiwanis Dog Park in Holbrook, AZ
Little Miss Dixie certainly wasn't scared or shy and after a little walk and piddle break she jumped into our car and was ready for a little bit of loving before it was time for her to continue her journey across Arizona.
Dixie was a great rider, not a peep and content to sit back and watch as the miles ticked by
Of course all good things must come to an end and it was time to hand off Dixie to the next driver for a few more miles up to her new family in Nevada.
Tonight she should sleep well and tomorrow starts her new life - good luck Dixie
This was the 5th (or so) transport that I have done for the Brittany rescue over the years and they all have been wonderful little dogs -
