@bewarecenterbase - I think what Gerber is trying to say when you convert STEEMP into a SE are tribe token, you dont own anything related to STEEM anymore. The STEEMP you spent belongs to the person that sold you the SE/tribe tokens. SE and tribe tokens are not built directly into the STEEM blockchain so they are not included in the hardfork.
If the owners of SE are paying out Hive tokens to STEEMP token holders, that's all i would expect them to do.

silverstackeruk, All Steem-Engine tokens are from Steem. If the customers did not buy the tokens, they will still have Steem and will get Hive airdrop. So When Steem HardFork to Hive and the exchange get Hive airdrop for their customers' STEEM custody, exchanges should handle the air drop to the customers too. Only exceptions are a few tokens from other coin peg gateway which does not hard fork this time. That is the legal and justice viewpoint and can be a civil and criminal suit case. If they are fair and reliable people of justice, they will do hardfork all the tokens. And even in business viewpoint, if the exchange snapshot this time and duplicate their digital data and servers, they will get automatically the existing customers. If they try to get double income from the hardfork and also from the existing customers, they will lose the existing customers, and hardly gather customers from then on. This is their business decision which may decide their business success or failure in the long term after this hardfork. If they are successful businessmen, they will also do hardfork all the tokens. Customers will see and decide their actions accordingly. Who will trade with the unreliables ? And who will just accept their losses due to the exchange's bad decision and be quiet ?

For now the official plan is the following: we will do a snapshot of all STEEMP balances, including any STEEMP locked in market orders or pending withdrawals. At some point after the fork (exact time not yet decided), there will be an airdrop of HIVEP to Steem Engine accounts based on the snapshot. Steem Engine itself is a side-chain running independently of the Steem blockchain, and thus is not forking at this time. So there will be no duplication of tokens on Steem Engine. If you plan to snapshot STEEMP only, I think that at least ENG, EM and EMFOUR should be included in the snapshot and airdrop since they are all Steem-Engine Native Tokens. Lots of STEEM investment are melt there and Steem-Engine team will get corresponding HIVE airdrop for the STEEM they have in custody.

No. Steem-engine is an exchange. They received customers' steem. And their steem from customers are all duplicated as HIVE during the HardFork. They will get both Hive and Steem. Customers Steem which entered Steem-Engine turned to Steemp, ENG, EM, EMFour, and all other steem-engine tokens. Since they get duplicated HIVE corresponding to STEEM they custady from customers, they should duplicate all the tokens in Steem-Engine.
The actual air drop need to take time, but the snapshot should be made for later airdrop of customers' all the tokens.

It's not token owner perspective. It's fair trade convention. When exchanges have customers' assets in custody and they will get duplicated new assets from their customers asset custody, they should also supply to customer the same. It's not only for coin HF, but also for stock, currency and others. You mentioned bitcoinp, but bitcoinp is different because Bitcoin is not hardforked at this time. But All steem related tokens should be duplicated. And I guess that amountt of other peg tokens are trivial.

Promise Required for Fair Witness Vote.

_1. Witness Vote Number Per STEEM Should be 1 instead of 30.

_2. Number of Major Witnesses should be increased to 50 (now, Eventually several hundred or thousands) instead of 20.

_3. Witness Node Software Should Be Made Easy to Install and Run so that commons can run Witness node.

_4. Remove DownVote Except for Strictly ilLegal contents i.e human/durg/weapon/kid porno trafficking, copyright/personal info infringement, scam etc.

#스팀 탈중앙화를 위해서, 투표할 증인에게 요구하는 약속들

_1. 스팀 당 증인 투표수는 30 이 아니라, 1 이 되어야 한다.

_2. 의사결정 증인 수는 20 이 아니라, 50 (지금 당장은, 궁극적으로는 수백, 수천) 이 되어야 한다.

_3. 증인 노드 소프트웨어는 누구나 쉽게 설치하고 돌릴 수 있도록 쉽게 만들어져야 한다.

Until such promises are made, Hard to know which guys are good or bad.

위 와같은 약속들이 없다면, 어떤 놈이 좋은 놈인지 알기 어렵다.
