Hey everyone! As you all know, @redditposh has been running quite well lately in terms of scanning for Hive front-end links on Reddit and alerting the author that their post got shared with a link to it. Thanks to the maintenance by @hivetrending!
The difficulties with Reddit compared to our previous main activity of POSH is that when you submit links to subreddits there's rules that come with it and restrictions. Similar to communities here where they won't want you posting about holozing in the Hive Pets community for instance you gotta spend some time looking for an appropriate one to share a hive post on.
Cause of all these rules and restrictions and on top of reddit's search being terrible, we thought we'll hire someone who wants to experiment sharing Hive posts using @redditposh to create and maintain an active list of suggestions on subreddits to share hive posts to.
What we're looking for:
Someone experienced using Reddit and having some activity to show for it.
That person then giving @redditposh a try and documenting the experiments. For instance:
I shared this post regarding #crypto #bitcoin #exchange in these subreddits: x, y, z and none got deleted, or got me banned or shadowbanned.Knowing how to check if you're shadowbanned.
Creating a list with different niches in order of subreddit size and which accept hive links and which don't for others wanting to share hive links to easily find a relevant one to share themselves
@poshtoken isn't very rich but it's one of the projects I believe most stakeholders are okay getting post rewards in an effort to boost token value and incentivize sharing of our front-ends outside. We don't favorite any front-end, we just want more traffic to come to our ecosystem. We will however build some funds to spend on a person or a couple people working on this experiment and list we can then keep pinned to our accounts so others can easily find and look through it.
Subreddits receive more shares and traffic as well so it's a win-win.
Anyway, if you have extra time and the know-how please apply here or catch me on Discord: acidyo to discuss this further and in more detail. We'll set aside a few hundred HBD for this activity so it'll help garner more traffic to our ecosystem through shares without requiring sharers to find subreddits on their own, go through the process of checking if they got deleted or not and in general having to look for specific subreddits which usually are quite hard to find as they all have uniquely squatted names.
As example: https://www.reddit.com/r/trees/ is about marijuana while https://www.reddit.com/r/marijuanaenthusiasts// is about actual trees.
Anyway, please get in touch and let's see what we can do to make sharing on Reddit easier for everyone!
Readers please reblog so we can find the best person for this job!
