Hi guys, Have you noticed how the sun these days feel like it's just one step closer to the earth? It's like the weather is saying, surprise I'm turning up the heat!", honestly, sometimes i feel like I'm living inside an oven. But instead of complaining all day, I've found some cool (literally!) way to deal with crazy heat.
First thing first - water is my best friend. I drink so much water now that I'm starting to feel like a walking water tank. I keep a bottle with me everywhere i go. Sometimes i even spice things up with a splash of lemon or cucumber to make it feel fancy. Coconut water? Yes, please! It's like nature's own energy drink. I avoid sodas because, let's be honest, they just make you feel thirstier.
Now let's talk about clothes. I've officially broken up with dark, heavy clothes. Who wants to feel like they're wrapped in a blanket in this weather? Not me! Instead, i wear light,loose cotton outfit that let's my skin breathe. Plus, I've addad a cool cap to my look like am ready for a sudden rain shower, but hey, it works!.
At home, I'm on a mission to keep things cool. Curtains stay closed during the hottest hours because sunlight sneak in like an uninvited guest and turn's the room into a sauna. I use fans, sometimes the AC if it's really bad, and when all else fails,l take a nice cold shower. Oh, and i avoid using heat-making appliances like ovens in the daytime-on one wants extra heat when it's already boiling out side.
TIMING Is Everything.i avoid going out noon because that's when the sun is on full power mode. Early mornings or evenings are much better. If i must step out, i stick to shady spots and walk like I'm on a secret mission, dodging the sun as much as i can.
And don't get me started on food. Heavy meals in this weather? No thanks! I eat more fruits and veggies-watermelon, cucumber and Orange's are my favorites. They're refreshing and won't make me feel sluggish.

with this simple tricks, I'm surviving the heat like a pro. Sure, it still feel like the sun is trying to cook us alive, but at least I'm not melting away!
