Why Do You Power Up Every Month?" Here’s My Honest Answer

By the way, I have always been powering up on the first of every month, and this time I have increased the amount of my power a little. And my endeavour will always be to keep increasing it. See, all the users who have been here for a long time know the benefits of powering up. By powering up, your hive power increases, just as your voting power also increases, and your influence also increases with it. The more power you have, the greater your influence. We have often seen that there are whales. We call them whales because their power is very high; that is why they have been given a big status. They have the power to make a good impact on any post. Look, I would not call myself a big account right now (Because I am not xd. ), but I like to encourage and support new users, and I try to support them in whatever way I can. If I can help them in any way, I am always there for that. Look, whenever I see a new user or I onboard anyone, I give them complete guidance for some time. Otherwise, the responsibility of anyone cannot be taken completely, but still I try to keep checking their content from time to time. If they are making any kind of mistake, then I ask them to correct it and tell them about their mistakes and advise them to improve.

The reason behind my power up is that I want to increase the influence of my power a little more. Right now, my power is very less and I want to increase it gradually, and I hope that gradually I will be successful in this journey and after that, people will definitely start recognising me by my power. There are many accounts here that do not post anything or do anything; they just curate, and that is how they survive, or I would say that they do good work because they have good power and with good power, the influence also increases a lot. Many people keep turning up their power here continuously. Last year, I also turned off almost 100% power, due to which my power has become this much, and for this year, I have set a target of 50k power, which I think I will probably be able to achieve easily if all the circumstances continue like this.

Look, if your power increases, then you have a lot of options, either you can do curation, or you can delegate your power to someone, or you can dedicate your power to a good project. You have a lot of options. When your power is less than, you have very few options available. As your power keeps increasing, your influence and your options also keep opening up. Till some point in time, I had kept very little power with myself and had delegated most of the power but my target was to collect as much liquid wealth as possible and my planning for that seemed different but now my perspective has changed a bit and due to this I have delegated very little of my power. Whenever I have delegated, I have done it because money is generated for me from those accounts, through which I keep hosting small contests, or sometimes, if I do some small jobs, then I need them for that or sometimes to power up or for small tasks.

For now, my strategy is to keep increasing my power as much as possible and keep going slowly. I am thankful to all the people who support me regularly and support me a lot. Sometimes, due to my busy schedule, I am not able to reply to all the comments. But still, I definitely try to read each and every comment and reply to them. This is my motive.
