Namaste,
As a young person, I believe being fit and healthy is super important. Right now, I'd say I'm physically fit, but I'm not perfect, and I know I can always do more to stay healthy. So, I'm planning to do something about it.
I believe that being fit isn't just about looking good; it's about feeling good too. When I'm physically active, I have more energy, I sleep better, and I'm more focused in school. Plus, exercise helps reduce stress and anxiety, which is a big deal for me, especially during exams.
Currently, I'd say I'm pretty active. I walk to school sometimes, and I try to move around during the day. However, I know I can do more. I want to be consistent with my workouts and make exercise a habit. I'm planning to join a gym to keep myself motivated.
My goal is to exercise regularly, at least 3-4 times a week. I want to try different activities like running, swimming, or even dancing. I'm also planning to eat healthier, with more fruits and less junk.
Here's what I plan to do
- Create a schedule: I'll set aside specific times for exercise, like right after school or in the morning.
- Find activities I enjoy: whether it's team sports, solo workouts, or group classes, I want to find what works best for me.
- Track my progress: I'll use a fitness tracker or app to monitor my progress and stay motivated.
- Mix it up: I'll try different exercises to avoid boredom
5: Try to be consistent:this is key when it comes to fitness. If I'm consistent, exercise will become a part of me, and I will be able to achieve the fitness goal I desire, thereby leading to great progress. - Find a workout buddy: Having someone to exercise with will make it more fun and help me stay accountable. On my own, there's a sure possibility of fluctuating.
- Reward myself:I'll treat myself to something nice after reaching a fitness milestone because it's not an easy task.
- Practice Healthy Habits: Most of the diseases and sicknesses in the world today are a result of what we eat, the kind of water we drink, the environments we live in, and the activities we indulge in.
If, as an individual, I can track all these things, avoid the ones I should, and take on the healthy ones, then my overall well-being is assured.
Additionally, health has to do with overall wellbeing, which involves mental, social, physical, emotional, and even spiritual, if anything disrupts any of these aspects, then our wellbeing is at stake.
Therefore, ensuring that we're sound physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually is essential.
Being fit and healthy is a journey, not a destination. I'd be excited to start this journey and see where it takes me. Health is wealth.
