Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. Finally, there's a contest about this. This year, my little sister graduated from college. Four years seems like a long time for her to go to school. So, What Advice Would I Give to Someone Leaving School Right Now? What Advice Would I Give to Someone Leaving School Right Now? But I still feel like she's not resilient and spoiled. I have a few messages for my only little sister or everyone who graduates from school. Maybe this one is a little emotional.
First, let go of all anger and hatred toward people from the past. Heal from trauma and the past, to be precise. Forgive everyone who has hurt you. Because from there, it will open the way to accept all the goodness in the world. My little sister, very different from me, grew up in a village.
Where I often heard my neighbors compare her to me. As a result, she developed a lot of fear, making her reluctant to try new things. And she lacked role models. Sometimes, my little sister, too, is triggered by just one wrong word I say. Heal from this, no longer dwelling on the past that hinders her future.
The second message I want to convey is to explore everything you love and explore life. Because from there, we will learn many things. Appreciate what we have. Free all our feelings and appreciate every process we go through.
Third, be part of a community and volunteer. I'm not addressing this message to my younger sibling, but to everyone. Generation Z today is very pragmatic. After graduating, they immediately look for jobs, sometimes unwilling to start with low wages. Or volunteer.
Today, I admit that the job market is quite difficult. By being part of a community or organization, we will at least build a network. From that network, we will build relationships with many people and open up employment opportunities. Without experience, it's difficult to enter a more professional workplace. Internships often involve little experience in the real world.
Fourth, master one or two skills and build a portfolio. During college, many people forget or even don't know what skills they possess. The working world requires mastering one or two skills. Beyond that, we will learn new things. These skills lay the foundation for exploring the future.
Fifth, set life goals for the future. What do you want to be in the next 10 years? This way, we can start to break down what we want and achieve each year. Sometimes, we don't have life goals and aspirations. This can leave us feeling tired, drifting along and confused. Perhaps that's all I want to convey. See you later.
