In this world, we must all try our possible best to keep fit because they say health is wealth. Being healthy is very important and it all starts and depends on our lifestyle, the things we do to keep fit, our daily routine and what we eat.
Personally, I will say that I am fit, but even though I am fit, I am still trying to keep fit, although I am not always consistent with my daily fitness routine. However, I still engage in some activities to make sure I stay fit and healthy. Most of these activities include:
Daily evening walk: I used to go out for morning road walk before, but due to the nature of my job, I can no longer continue with that. So I adjusted and made it an evening walk. Most evenings, I step out of my house, stroll a distance away, then return home, take a bath, eat and rest.
Drinking plenty of water: Water is very vital for healthy living, so I have developed the habit of drinking plenty of water.
Biking: Most times, I get a bike from my friends and ride a long distance. That keeps my muscles flexible and helps me stay healthy.
Push-up: I do some morning push-ups for like 10 minutes before leaving the room.
I also ensure that I eat well and properly because what we take into our body matters a lot. I make sure to wash my hands properly before eating anything.
One of the things I am still struggling with is getting enough sleep, and I am sure that with time, I will get used to observing siesta and sleeping at least 8 hours a day.
These are the few things that help me stay fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
