I can't remember the last time I sweated due to extreme heat, and this is because I have found a way to keep myself protected and in a warm state every time. If there's one season I hate the most of all seasons, it's the heat season. I don't even need to ask the question of whether you have experienced some kind of heat that will leave you itching your body nonstop and with no other option but to open your door wide, even at night, without minding mosquitoes from entering.
It becomes worse when a mosquito perches on your beautiful skin, and at the same time, you are dealing with the heat, and the worst is that there is no light to make you enjoy the fan, especially at night when you're supposed to enjoy a good sleep.
Have you experienced that moment where you just returned from somewhere and under the scorching sun, all you need is to take a shower, but after that, you put on the fan, and you realise the heat brings out its character - now unbearable? It's always an annoying moment because the fan is supposed to address the issue, but it's blowing out more heat.
At the moment, the best is to go sit outside and under a huge tree for shade and fresh air. No wonder people prefer to stay longer outside at night before entering inside to sleep. I did this a lot of times when I was in school.
I hate heat periods. It makes me feel uncomfortable, angry, and at that point, I easily get irritated at silly things because while I'm battling with heat on my body, someone or something decides to frustrate my life. Heat has claimed the lives of many because they couldn't cope with it any longer.
Have you been to the North yet? Well, there are those living there, and I must say that those ones are living in another world entirely because the sun over there can cook an individual, and you'd eat him or her.

But in the midst of this, I found a way out. When I moved to this new place, I already bought a solar panel that gives light 24/7 and it came with a standing fan that I have access to every time I feel like enjoying some cool moment.
The last time this year I encountered heat and sweat was when I visited my friend last weekend, and what I did was to take off my clothes and use the plastic hand fan to do justice to the situation - my hands hurt. Even though her room is always a permanent abode for heat, no matter how wide she opens her windows, except when light comes, she would use the standing fan.
Other ways I have tried solving the issue with heat are:
Drinking lots of water: very necessary at this period because one needs to be hydrated. Extreme heat causes thirst and I always have water at my reach to fill my throat and be okay. I drink lots of water perse.
Also, I wear light clothes to keep me cool and warm. During the heat season, I stay out of thick clothes because that could be a bad idea, especially when keeping your body scent nice and not bringing bad odour.
I also make sure my windows are opened enough for ventilation, as not doing that could make the room stuffy and start to bring out bad odour, which I wouldn't like. Apart from using the solar fan, fresh air from outside is natural and good for the body until late at night when I would need to close up everyone to prevent mosquitoes from entering.
