Friends, in life, whatever we want to do, it is very important to be consistent.
It is also very important to be dedicated. And the thing that stops us from being consistent and dedicated these days is reels, the ones that play on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
So friends, I have personally experienced that a lot of our time gets wasted on reels. For me, it was Instagram reels where my time was being wasted.
It is possible that if you use YouTube, then you are wasting your time on YouTube reels, or maybe on TikTok.
So friends, to avoid this, I followed few things. There was a time when I deleted Instagram and stopped using it. But that was not the real solution. Avoiding something does not mean we have to eliminate it from our life.
So what did I do? I initially deleted Instagram, but I also started managing my time. How did I manage it? I fixed a specific time to use Instagram.
First, I focused on studying. then on my side part time job, I gave time to that first. And only after finishing everything , I gave some time to Instagram.
Maybe I would not even use Instagram, but these days we do not meet our friends in real life. We have all become social friends who only meet on social media.
Mostly, we talk either on WhatsApp or on Instagram. We share reels with each other there, and we just laugh for a bit. Other than that, so many days, weeks, or even months pass without meeting each other in person or going out anywhere. That is why I reinstalled Instagram.
Anyway, I followed this habit and you should also try it. If you are wasting your time on Instagram, then just close your eyes for a moment and ask yourself, “Am I doing the right thing?” You will get your answer, No, you are not doing the right thing.
So stop wasting your time.
