Hello everyone,
I hope you're all enjoying your weekend and having fun with your family. I am happy to be here today to share with you about the progress and recent situation that I encountered at my maize farm.
There was an absent of rain lately for more than two weeks that I have to irrigate my maize plants by myself to prevent the plants from burning out. But recently, it's started raining again which I am so happy about. But there was a heavy rain overnight which fell for some hours before stopping.
The rain actually stopped at the midnight. When I woke up in the morning, I went straight to check on my maize farm to be sure if everything is actually okay. But to my surprise, I met some of the maize plants bent towards the floor, some the maize plants has been pulled through the roots because of the heavy rain.
I have to raised them up back again and gather some soil to the base of the maize plants to make it stand firmly, but while doing so, I noticed that one of the maize plants has actually been cut off due to the heavy breeze caused by the rain that fell overnight.
This is the first time I am recording a negative outcome from my maize plants as I loosed one the maize plants but it is what it is. I will have to keep my eyes open and make sure the rest of the maize plants is actually safe from whatever circumstances for me to have a great harvest.
