Olá pessoal! Esse é o romance "Entre Sombras e Encantos". Esse romance começou a ser escrito em 2012 e nunca publiquei nada dele, decidi retomar e readaptar ele juntando com meus recentes projetos e ele fará parte do universo de a Ordem de Nod. Embora ele faça parte do universo fantasia da Ordem de Nod ele será escrito como um romance independente com sua própria historia e ritmo.

Capítulo 3 - Sob as Luzes do Beira-Rio

A noite estava morna, e Laura estava radiante em seu vestido azul, e sua animação era quase contagiante. Já eu, ainda que bem arrumado, estava relutante. A ideia de uma festa sendo convidado pela Kayra sempre parecia prometer mais confusão do que diversão.
Kayra chegou pontualmente, o som do motor do carro precedendo sua presença. Quando descemos para encontrá-la, ela já estava escorada na porta do carro, com o mesmo ar rebelde que parecia cercá-la como uma aura. Seus olhos brilharam quando nos viu.
— Olha só, o menino solitário resolveu sair de casa. Milagre! — disse ela, cruzando os braços e lançando um sorriso zombeteiro.
— E olha só, a garota sem noção veio buscar a minha irmã. Vai me dizer que aprendeu a dirigir no videogame? — retruquei, revirando os olhos.
Laura deu uma risadinha e correu para cumprimentar Kayra com um abraço. A relação delas era inesperada, mas de alguma forma, fazia sentido. Kayra abriu a porta do carro com um gesto elegante.
— Vamos logo, ou vocês querem perder o início da festa?
O caminho foi pontuado por trocas de farpas entre mim e Kayra. Ela parecia gostar de testar meus limites, mas havia algo no jeito dela que me deixava intrigado. Entre um comentário ácido e outro, tinha algo de diferente nela, e eu não conseguia perceber o que era. No final das contas ela era uma das melhores motoristas que eu já tinha visto, embora tenha ido o tempo rapido de mais, ela tinha um controle do carro absurdo e até na hora de estacionar ela conseguiu manobrar o carro de primeira em uma vaga dificil. Parece que ela não aprendeu a dirigir nos videogames afinal.
Quando chegamos, o Beira-Rio estava em plena efervescência. Luzes coloridas cortavam a escuridão, o batidão era tão alto que era quase como se o chão vibrasse. O som do funk era contagiante, embora eu não fosse o maior fã, arrastando todos para a pista. Laura se misturou rapidamente, rindo e dançando com uma energia que só ela tinha.
Logo me afastei fiquei encostado em uma parede, observando, como sempre. Laura estava se divertindo, mas minha preocupação constante a mantinha no centro do meu radar. Kayra, no entanto, não demorou a se aproximar, um copo em mãos e um sorriso malicioso nos lábios.
— Olha só, o irmão protetor não dança? Ou tá com medo de passar vergonha? — ela provocou, aproximando-se o suficiente para me encarar.

Ela simplesmente me ignorou e voltou pra pista de dança pra perto da Laura. Meus olhos a acompanharam e ela percebeu quando se virou pro meu lado dançando.
Ela sorriu, enigmática, e continuou dançando como se estivesse me provocando o resto da noite. Ela continuava a testar meus limites, mas meu foco sempre voltava a Laura. Ambas rirão e dançaram a noite toda, enquanto eu estava contente apenas observando, sempre gostei de observar, como a Kayra gostava de dizer sou um voyer.
Quando a noite foi avançando, Laura finalmente se cansou e veio até mim, ainda sorrindo.
— Foi perfeito, maninho! A melhor festa! —
Olhei para Kayra, que estava encostada em uma pilastra, observando-nos com aquele mesmo brilho indecifrável nos olhos. Algo em mim dizia que a noite ainda não tinha terminado de verdade.
Conclusão
Esse foi o terceiro capitulo de "Entre Sombras e Encantos", não consegui acrescentar pra esse capitulo, mas pros próximos capítulos irei começar a trazer moodboards e curiosidades dos personagens nos posts, além do capitulo da historia. The evening was warm, and Laura was radiant in her blue dress, and her excitement was almost contagious. I, on the other hand, although well dressed, was reluctant. The idea of being invited to a party by Kayra always seemed to promise more trouble than fun.
Kayra arrived punctually, the sound of the car engine preceding her presence. When we went down to meet her, she was already leaning on the car door, with the same rebellious air that seemed to surround her like an aura. Her eyes lit up when she saw us.
-Look, the lonely boy has decided to leave home. Miracle! - she said, crossing her arms and giving us a mocking smile.
-And look, the clueless girl has come to pick up my sister. Are you going to tell me you learned to drive from a video game? - I retorted, rolling my eyes.
Laura giggled and ran over to greet Kayra with a hug. Their relationship was unexpected, but somehow it made sense. Kayra opened the car door with an elegant gesture.
-Let's get going, or do you want to miss the start of the party?
The drive was punctuated by exchanges of barbs between Kayra and me. She seemed to enjoy testing my limits, but there was something about her manner that intrigued me. Between one acid comment and another, there was something different about her, and I couldn't figure out what it was. In the end, she was one of the best drivers I'd ever seen, although she went too fast, she had absurd control of the car and even when it came to parking, she managed to maneuver the car into a difficult space first time. I guess she didn't learn to drive from video games after all.
When we arrived, the Beira-Rio was in full swing. Colored lights cut through the darkness, the beat was so loud that it was almost as if the ground was vibrating. The funk sound was infectious, although I wasn't the biggest fan, drawing everyone onto the dance floor. Laura quickly joined in, laughing and dancing with an energy that only she had.
I soon moved away and leaned against a wall, watching as usual. Laura was enjoying herself, but my constant worrying kept her at the center of my radar. Kayra, however, soon approached, glass in hand and a mischievous smile on her lips.
-Look, doesn't the protective brother dance? Or are you afraid of being embarrassed? - she teased, coming close enough to face me.
-It's not really my thing, I think you know. But don't you think you've had enough to drink? - I said, trying to ignore the challenging tone in her voice.
Kayra just laughed and took another sip from her glass, her eyes never leaving mine.
She simply ignored me and went back to the dance floor to join Laura. My eyes followed her and she noticed when she turned to dance next to me.
She smiled enigmatically and continued dancing as if she were teasing me for the rest of the night. She continued to test my limits, but my focus always returned to Laura. They both laughed and danced the night away, while I was content just watching, I've always liked watching, as Kayra liked to say I'm a voyeur.
As the night went on, Laura finally got tired and came over to me, still smiling.
