It has been something like 4 months since my last installment of Space Lore. This is a chain story that @therneau and myself would pass between the two of us, much like @lex-zaiya and I would pass Maledictus Terra episodes back and forth!
So. I am getting back into it and I need to focus better than before and move the story onwards! It has been an itch that I need to scratch.
The story split into 3 arcs. Let's do the story so far...

Story Arc 1
Book of Space Lore SLZT
This main arc of this story.
It follows on from the explorer Thorne Herm, G5 the survey droid and Allan, Thorne's pilot. They discover a rare material and G5 is transformed... or in the process of evolution.
There is an entity which guards the material and they are pursued by this entity and its swarm of mechanical insects.
The three characters come into contact with a military space ship. Even though G5, who then becomes J5, disables the military ship, they soon have to join forces to escape the swarm.
The small band joins a much larger group of the military grade vessel, captained by an Au'lit female, Captain Freyai. This ship is staffed by a multitude of different races.
In their desparate bid for survival, they merge their ships using J5's advanced new technological abilities and jump away from the swarm.
The Swarm pursues but is unable to catch them.
At the moment, the mixed crew of survivers are attempting to gain access to a new fuel source on a small planet.
Story Arc 2
Book of Space Lore SLZT.Q
This story arc follows the events surrounding the mechanical Queen entity that is the master of the Swarm that had been trying to attack Thorne and company.
The Queen seeks to retrieve the material that had fused itself with J5's body.
In her mission to retrieve the material, she heads to earth where life-forms like Thorne Herm originate from and settles in Africa, beginning to extract minerals and metals to self-replicate her swarmslings and to build structures.
Story Arc 3
Book of Space Lore SLKT
This is a rather new story but in essence it is about a group of people settling a new high gravity world where the scientists are performing some sort of experiment.
A large creature attacks the base of their operations.
Not much else is known.
These were part of chain stories. Thus they are not stories that were planned out well in advance and were stories that would be bounced back and forth and added on incrimentally.
I will now continue with these stories...
