Greetings!
Welcome to another edition of my son's homeschooling. Today's topics are counting and writing numbers. With the help of a practice copybook, I will be teaching my son to count based on the examples given on the Practice Copy Book then he will write the corresponding number/answer after counting the given examples.
In this edition of my son's homeschooling, I let him take the lead to what he is going to study from the practice copybook. With that being said, we went back and forth on the lessons, skip some, then back again.
First, I presented to him the practice copybook and I told him that we are going to study numbers and count using the practice copybook. I then told him to pick what he want to study on the practice copybook.
To my surprise, instead of him starting or picking any lesson from the copy he opted to show me some of the numbers that he can already right. He wrote the numbers 1, 2 (which became letter S), 4, and 5.
In the photo below, my son is showing me the numbers that he can write, with the exception of the number 2 which apparently became the letter S
After he showed me some of the numbers that he can write he then turn the pages of the practice copybook he chose the counting lesson and wrote the correct number/answers on the box provided.
In the next four photos below, I instructed my son to count the figures/images presented in groups then I told him to write the correct number/answer in the box below. He did a good job on these examples answering them all almost immediately
After he is done with the counting lesson he then turns the pages of the practice copybook and he chose the number 1 trace-writing lesson.

After he is done with the number 1 trace-writing lesson he then turns the page a notch and chose the number 2 trace-writing lesson.
My son doing the number 2 trace-lesson
In the number 2 trace-writing lesson, he just finished the first line then he proceeded to the number 3 trace-writing lesson.
In the next three photos below my son can be seen doing the number 3 trace-writing lesson
Next up, I let him turn the pages of the practice copybook as long as he wants then he settled on the number 6 trace-writing lesson. This lesson teaches him to write the number 6 correctly.
The good thing about this copybook is after you wrote the number it will eventually absorb the ink and then the number will be blank again.
In the next two photos below my son can be seen doing the number 6 trace-writing lesson
After he finished trace-writing the first line of number 6 he then turned the pages at will (forward and backward) then he settled on the number 7 trace-writing lesson.
Just like on the number 2 trace-writing lesson he just finishes the first line of the number 6 trace-writing lessons then he proceeded to the number 7 trace-writing lesson.
In the next three photos below my son can be seen doing the number 7 trace-writing lesson
After he is done with the number 7 trace-writing lesson he then proceeds to the number 8 trace-writing lesson.
In the next four photos below my son can be seen doing the number 8 trace-writing lesson
After he is done with the number 8 trace-writing lesson he then turns the pages multiple times (back and forth) and then he settled on the number 9 trace-writing lesson.
The next three photos are about my son doing the number 9 trace-writing lesson
After he is done with the number 9 trace-writing lesson he then turns the pages backward a few times and settles on the number 4 trace-writing lesson.
My son doing the number 4 trace-writing lesson
My son just finishes the first line of the number 4 trace-writing lesson and then he proceeds to the number 5 trace-writing lesson.
In the next two photos below my son can be seen doing the number 5 trace-writing lesson
Just as he finishes the number 5 trace-writing lesson he then turns the pages and he settles on the 0 to 9 trace-writing lesson.
At that sums of my son's homeschooling for today. I learned that if I am going to let my son do the lesson that he wants it will be easier for both of us since he takes the lessons that he is interested in.
