I didn't post anything about our unschooling life for a long time, but it almost never stops:)
Now my son is finishing his 3-year course. I like to see his progress, and I'm inspired by his success in almost all themes we take.
Something goes harder for him, something - easier, but in general he's rather good for his age and I'm glad to realize it's my success too;)
Now I'll show you some pieces of our English tasks.
I know the main secret of kids success is studying is their interest and courage, so tasks shouldn't be boring.
Standard textbooks are not very interesting, so I bought another book for him - Star English with grammar and exercises.
And one more book for his first English reading - a book of small funny stories about kittens who have fun and play together.
He was very proud he has his first English book for reading;)
I was lucky to find both of them because they are really interesting and useful.
we both are glad to read, so we aren't bored and don't hate English:))
It's my son's 2nd year of studying English, and now he can speak, read, write and watch English carttons with simple lexics.
He knows the modal verb Can, Present Simple, Present Continious, have got/has got construction, the verb To be, Singular and Plural nouns and many different words.
I think it's not bad because we spend about 40-50 min a day maximum, and it happens not every day, we switch to Maths, Russian and Nature stydying as well, and of course we have many frree days when we just relax and do nothing;)
he is a left-handed boy, and he doesn't like to write Nice letters;))
