Dear HIVE-Community,
today we would like to introduce you to a new Service running on HIVE-Blockchain (100% OnChain!).
HIVE-Bounty 2.0 serves the automated distribution of HIVE or HBD to HIVE users who leave a comment on a post with an active bounty.
With HIVE-Bounty, you're in control. Whether you want to reward a task, have a question answered or boost engagement in your comments - it's entirely up to you.
As some of you may already know, this service is not a new idea. Unfortunately, it was discontinued some time ago without any sign of reactivation, which is why @thezyppi has taken over this part and also included some new features for the first release.
HIVE-Bounty 2.0
On our website, you have the opportunity to commission a bounty using the interface provided there.
Here, you have the opportunity to determine various settings, such as the weighting of votes on comments.
There is no need to login to use HIVE-Bounty!

Possible settings:
Post Link:
Enter the Link to the Post you want to set your Bounty on.
We support links of the following frontends: Hive.blog, PeakD.com, Ecency.com and Leofinance.io.
Price:
Enter the desired amount to set for the bounty here.
Currency:
Choose whether you want to place HIVE or HBD on your bounty.
End date:
Set date and time you want your bounty to end (always use UTC!). The maximum duration is limited to 1 Month.
Commission:
Set a percentage of your bounty as commission for running this service (minimum is 1%).
Creator weight:
Set how much control you want to have over distributing your bounty compared to the community's votes.
Sample:
When creator weightings are set to 50% the community will decide with the same weight as the creator about the distribution of the set bounty.
When set to 75%, the community's weight concerning distribution of the bounty will be 25% of the amount.
Amount of Winners:
Here you can define how much winners will be choosen at the end of your HIVE-Bounty. You may choose between 1 to 100 winners for each bounty.
HIVE-Bounty Classic
We also offer to start a HIVE-Bounty the classic way! To do so, you may send your HIVE/HBD to @hive-bounty including a link to the post you wish to start your bounty on in the memo.
This way you can not set more than 10 possible winners and have to miss out on other functions, but you do not need to use the website if you don't want to do so.
The "End date" will automatically be set to 7 days from starting your HIVE-Bounty.
The "creator weightings" of the bounty will be set to 90%, so the community will have influence over 10% of the bountys distribution.
The "Commission" will be set to 1%!
Further functions:
Exclude users from your HIVE-Bounty:
As creator of a bounty you may exclude a HIVE-User from your bounty by using a 1% downvote on their comment.
Add funds to an existing HIVE-Bounty:
With this option you may add additional funds to an existing Bounty on HIVE.
There are 4 different ways to do so:
- Option 1:
Click the link in the comment of the bounty to which you wish to add further funds to.
- Option 2:
Click the "Tip-Button" below the bountys comment when using PeakD.com as frontend to add funds to this bounty.
- Option 3:
You may also send HIVE/HBD to @hive-bounty including the posts link as MEMO when you wish to add funds to a HIVE-Bounty.
- Option 4:
You may use our website and click the "Add HIVE / HBD" button on previewed bounties.
You won't get "creator-rights" or will be able to change already set conditions this way!

Click the table-icon in the list of running bounties on our website to see who added funds to this bounty.

Please be aware that this is a early version of HIVE-Bounty and things may not work out completely as intended. In case anything should go wrong, we will make sure every single HIVE or HBD will reach it's intended destination.
