I started using Stxxm, from which Hive hard forked, in mid-July 2016. So I'm entering my 10th year on Hive Blog and Hive!
Back then, blockchain and cryptocurrency were still in their infancy. I vaguely remember Bitcoin being around $500. Both blockchain and crypto have slowly grown over the years—just like my daughter who wasn't there that time. I’ve been part of this space for quite a while now, and thanks to Hive Blog, I’ve met some truly wonderful people also in real. I had great experiences at the Fests in 2018 and 2024, as well as this year’s Creators Day in Graz, and I’m currently planning a trip to hopefully attend the Fest in Kuala Lumpur this fall.
By posting here about gardening, food, and my dreamy musings, I’ve been able to clarify what I truly love—and in doing so, I feel like I’ve been moving closer to my dream life. To everyone who reads dnd comments to my posts—thank you so much! I'm also grateful for the reward I receive from Hive. HIVE stays as it is and I withdraw my HBD monthly, converting it into Bitcoin. This month, it amounted to about 100 euros, which make me smile ☺️
I hope I continue having good time on Hive, and I’d love to contribute to keeping the Hive community vibrant and thriving.
Crypto and blockchain seem to be doing relatively well at the moment. That's good. A year from now, I hope I’ll be writing a post saying: "It’s been a full 10 years on Hive!" next year around this time. Until then, I plan to keep enjoying my Hive life.

So here we go, my 10th year on Hive begins now 🎉
2016年の7月中旬にHive Blogの前身のStxxmitを使い始めました。ということで、今月からはなんとHive Blog、Hiveでの10年目がスタートします。
ブロックチェーンや暗号通貨はまだ黎明期だったんですよね。ビットコインが500ドルくらいだった頃をうっすら覚えています。ブロックチェーンも暗号通貨も、あと生まれた子供もゆっくり成長して、私も長々界隈にいて、特にHive Blogではリアルでもいい人たちと出会えました。2018年、2024年に参加したFest、今年グラーツで開催されたCreators Dayではとてもよい時間を過ごせて、秋のクアラルンプールでのFestに参加できたらいいなと旅行を計画しているところです。
日々、ガーデニングや食、夢みがちな雑文をここに書かせてもらうことで、自分の好きなことが明らかになり、理想の人生に近づいていけている気がします。読んでくださるみなさん、コメントくださるみなさん、いつもありがとうございます。お小遣いをもらえるのもとてもうれしくて、HIVEはそのまま残しつつ、毎月HBDを出金して、ビットコインにして貯めています。今月は100ユーロほど（円に換算すると17000円・・・！びっくりしました）。こちらもありがたいです。今後もお小遣いがもらえるといいなと思いつつ、Hiveのもりあがりに貢献できたらいいなと思っています。
現在ブロックチェーン・暗号通貨界隈はどちらかというと好調なのかな。平和なのはとてもよいことだと思います。来年の今頃、Hiveで10年が無事経過しました、と報告できるように今年もHiveライフを楽しみたいなと思うのでした。
