I said I won't bother doing a monthly Valueplan collation anymore and just focus on every 6 months as we see more of a broader picture on who is receiving the "Make A Wish Foundation" funding. Because I created such a hullaballo in 2025 but just looking at the details, nothing really has changed. The one thing stands out is people who are receiving funding are doing it under generic names now. I had to laugh at @upb2b,@lb2b, and @sb2b all new wallets and receiving funding. Some things never change.
Obviously because of the sheer cost of motor sport , the rally car drivers are way ahead in the number 1 spot receiving a total of 233,779.94 Hive so far this year for their participation in the WRC which we are told has viewership figures rivalling the last season of Game of Thrones. It was handy that I could confirm my figures on the Valueplan website created by @spiritsurge which is pretty good actually. You can find the up to date figures here but I will go into them in more detail in my next post. For this post I always like to focus on the number 1 ranked user receiving the Hive Communities funds. Lets have a look at their payouts since the start of the year.
Now I don't doubt here that the money is being ploughed into the car. This project I believe is a project of passion and love and this is why I have a problem with it. I want to be an astronaut!! Do you think the Hive blockchain will fund an exhibition for me on Bluemotion?? It is a vast amount of funding for the Hive Community to be investing in. I made a post at the end of last year not questioning the finances but more questioning were we any good at rally driving? And the results spoke for themselves. The car finished last in most races. You can view my findings here How is the rally car doing? .
In 2025 it looks like we competed in the Monte Carlo race in January where the rally car driver was celebratory in his post for finishing a solid 7th in his class. I was actually delighted for him because they were down on their luck in 2024 until I had a little gander at the WRC results.
If they finished 8th I would have indeed told the lads to give up the dream.

Anyway dust yourself on and onto the next one. Slow and steady wins the race. The WRC went to Sweden , then Kenya, the Canaries and Portugal and our drivers chose the Italian rally to make a comeback but due to mechanical failure they did not finish so their bad luck continues. It's tough when they don't finish because we don't hear any updates from them. Not to worry I'm sure the Hive Community will cough up another quarter of a million Hive over the next 6 months. So two rallies down and $68,300.65 USD spent on them. I have not included funding from Dec 2024 as this is allocated to that financial period so Monte Carlo probably cost more.
Now most of the rally car posts are comments from the usual crustys saying how beautiful the rally car is and comments such as "I can't believe we have a rally car??" But nobody is looking in under the hood so to speak. It is beautiful. It does look good in mid air. But the truth is we don't have an exit strategy. And this is the case for many of the legacy projects being funded and its hungrier they are getting. Receive 1k this year and next year why not ask for a raise. I do that at work so why not ask for more for "Volunteering" doing a Hive project? Its normal
Just a question as a sponsor. Is finishing so low affecting the credibility of our extremely fast blockchain that does not break down much compared to other blockchains. One would wonder. "There she goes again , breaking down. Their blockchain must be shite as well!!!" was overheard on the hills of Sardinia. But what's the answer to getting better. Give them more funding?? Black hole of Calcutta alert.
I was looking at the prize money in the Tour De France today. I looked the Irish guy who won a stage on the Tour and finished 9th overall. He received $20,000 for winning a stage in the most grueling race in the world. His team earned $75,000 from the whole tour. @victorwallet has received $16,495 this year so far so pedal biking in South America. Ben !! What are you doing with your life?? Join the Hive Blockchain you wally!!!! You could be a millionaire in a few years!! Yes you can skim funds off the top , just don't mention it!! Call yourself @benb2b and away you go!!
