Hey friends,
Nothing fancy from me today. Nothing terribly funny, witty or clever.
But what I do want to do, is write a short post about what's been up with my posts and myself recently.
I want to apologize first though, the quality of my posts and helpfulness haven't been up to their usual par recently.
The thing is, I work a ton. Like 60-70+ hours a week... and then I go to work to reopen and relaunch my restaurant.
I don't typically have the luxury of "a day off"...
I'm pretty burnt out. A bit on the "low" side - not "depressed" just... like Bilbo said...
This has definitely affected my ability to publish creative/helpful posts.
The problem is, I want to achieve the Hive Buzz Monthly Author badge just once.
So I've been posting about random stuff... it hasn't been super helpful or funny... but honestly, I feel like I'm on "Low Power Mode" and the Witty/Creative/Humor portion of the brain is very, VERY energy intensive...
But I can't slack off at work...
I can't afford to come up short... No pressure or anything though... right 😅
But just once I don't want my ADHD to rob me of something like this. Just once I want to have some control over my life.
Not dictated by the endless struggle of the working class.
But the exhaustion, being overworked, stress and worry from being seen as "spammy" Hiver just publishing for votes are a concern.
I know I'll bounce back... I'm just going through it a bit right now and I really want to earn that silly achievement.
Anyways, I'll get back to writing helpful content soon!
