It has been bothering me for a couple days. I had questions but I didn’t even know how to ask them. The information we need is out there. The talent we need is out there.
There is so much excitement in the community, so many people want to help but don’t know where to start. I don’t know how exactly I can help with that, but I am going to try.
What I want to do is simple:
Figure out what the community thinks is most important
Brainstorming
Making it happen.

What about curators that share content outside of HIve, let's say Facebook, twitter and maybe even Instagram. Reaching out the normie internet users. LBRY is also a great outlet.

An easily accessible collection of high quality marketing material including not only finished products but the assets that made them so it can be easily remixed. I’ve already got a collection of Creative Commons bee footage put together for my Hive promos.

I think we should focus on onboarding/attracting new users, ones that aren't coming from STEEM, brand newbies coming from traditional social media. Plus training materials. I created video training materials for Whaleshare when I started there a year back. I'm waiting for UI to stabilize (and which UI will be primary to emerge) but then plan to create some training videos.

I think we need to work mass adoption and commerce opportunities simultaneously. the social network is just a method of distribution. In order for the currency to gain true footing, it needs to be a medium of exchange.

What if we use services like HiveInvite.com to leave Hive user invites to content we find outside of Hive that should be here.
@PeakDcom does a great job of after onboarding care which I think is as important / more important after onboarding. @Jon_G_Olson you have some resources for that too right?

We should 1. focus on interacting with new users (they should get the maximum number of answers on one page - the Constitution of a beginner)

ATM documentation and lists of everything that is going on. The average user could still be struggling with some basic stuff. People are still asking me about hive as if the last month went right over them. From there people can work with their strengths when/where they can.

Adding a Witness 'Vote Decay' feature so that old witness votes expire. Currently the top witnesses have a huge lead in votes following the move to have them beat justin sun on steem. Many of the voters may not log in to hive to change their votes. A Good feature regardless.
*During the discord chat, Vote renewal was also brought up.

Governability changes. Reduce witness votes to 10. Reset all witness votes and HDF votes to 0 so that fresh votes are cast without the dead weight of unused stake and give all witnesses a change. Adjust power down to 8 weeks.

Along the lines of mass adoption, I think changing the current reputation system is necessary. This was my suggestion: @moeknows/steem-proposal-account-rating-system There are other proposals as well.

We should 1. focus on interacting with new users (they should get the maximum number of answers on one page - the Constitution of a beginner) 2. The increase in the number of mobile interfaces 3. Attracting third-party advertisers with the subsequent distribution of awards to the entire community. 4. Creation of a universal lottery - the budget is formed from the minimum contributions of participants and most of it is financed from the DAO.

Allowing the Koreans who voted for proxy voters, before they knew about Justin Sun’s actions, to switch to Hive. There needs to be a neutral zone so people can transition if they wish to, or if people want to post on both chains. 3 years of SP powering down now. That’s tough.

A second thing I would like to have considered (and it could be done now without a HF) would be the ability to have evergreen content rewards.

well the first one is the most obvious, releasing SMTs before steem blockchain is an absolutely crucial must

Development, documentation, and governance. These should be the top priority, and the community should have discussions and debates about what they want dev'd and how to secure governance to best bring #HIVE to a marketable place.
