We've got some exciting news for you today! As you know, last year, we were incredibly grateful to receive funding from the HIVE community through a DHF proposal. Initially, the funds were meant for HashKings, but we decided to pay it forward and create tools to boost HIVE's mass adoption.
We'll be detailing all of these tools in an upcoming proposal post, but for now, let's talk about one of them - HIVEPAYMENTS!
What is HIVEPAYMENTS?
HIVEPAYMENTS is a game-changing payment gateway processor for eCommerce, games, dapps.
(yes, we've also built something for physical stores!).
We've chosen the name HIVEPAYMENTS for SEO and branding reasons that will have a positive impact when we start doing content marketing on tradicional social media.
This powerful tool will allow developers to easily deploy user-friendly options to accept multiple tokens simultaneously for their products, add discounts, and more, without having to worry about setting up the entire system.
Testing Phase - Try It Now!
We're thrilled to announce that the payment gateway is already live in the testing phase, and you can try it out right now in the Infernal Coliseum game!
Your feedback is really important specially in the User experience aspect which is something we really take care of now in all our products.
We'll be closely monitoring each transaction to ensure everything is working smoothly and as intended.
Once the testing phase ends, we're gonna open it for everyone so you can start using it in your products and services!
Fees and Future Plans
Currently, the fee for each transaction processed through HIVEPAYMENTS is 1.5%. Our goal is to make this project profitable and self-sustaining, so we don't have to rely on DHF funds in the future.
We plan to continually improve HIVEPAYMENTS by adding more features, making it a valuable product for the HIVE community and a mainstream solution on the HIVE blockchain including subscriptions, coupons and more!
