The biggest Hive story in recent weeks is the SPK Network. Two weeks ago, @threespeak team released the SPK Network Light Paper. The paper outlines a protocol and a number of different tokens for mining, network fees, and governance. The miner tokens will be "claim dropped" to Hive holders at some point (TBD). Aureal Ships New and Improved Podcasting App
This week Aureal, a Hive-powered podcasting app, announced a new version of the app. This announcement appeared on Twitter and we asked them if they can start posting this info on their Hive blog.

OCD Launches "Foodies Bee Hive" Community Boost Contest
The OCD curation team has done a series (11) of these community boost contests. Each one highlights a different Hive community. This week the "Foodies Bee Hive" community is being boosted. By joining and posting in the community, bloggers can win some extra upvotes.
PeakD Launches "Best Collections" Contest
To encourage folks to start building content collections and bring back to life old Hive content, the PeakD team is running a 1500 HIVE "best collections" competition.

Hive is home to a growing number of blockchain games. Here's a quick summary of updates for Hive games.
dCrops Open Testing
This week dCrops, a farm-manager NFT game, started a phase of open testing. Anyone can join to earn a share of the 25,000 CROP token reward pool.
EXODE Launches Colonization Test
Exode, the space exploration NFT game, recently launched a test of the new planet discovery feature. Players who participate in the test are given a planet.
Splinterlands adds Card Locking feature
Splinterlands, the monster battle trading card game, recently added some new security features. Players can now lock cards and make them non-transferable until an unlock timer expires. Also, the daily DEC rewards pool size has changed to dynamically adjust with the market price of DEC. The rewards pool will grow or shrink based on how far the price deviates from $0.001 / DEC.
Lobstradamus, the 12th Untamed Airdrop card, has been air-dropped.
