Are you voting for witnesses here on HIVE? For newcomers, it's not the first thing you're going to want to run and do. But there's no better time to start paying attention than now.
If on your travels you come across an individual or two you feel deserves it, jump over to PeakD.com and vote for them as a witness. Go to your profile, select actions, and them review witnesses.
If you've already voted for witnesses, have you checked to see their performance of late? Have they had a dead node for months? No blog update in over a year? It might be time to do some shuffling. That's what I did today.
Who Got My Votes?
I had two spots left and open to vote for witnesses. After running through my votes, I found some witnesses that haven't been active for months on end. No need to keep my support up there.
This opened up a couple more votes for more engaged witnesses. This is who I voted for:
@nathanmars picked up one of my votes. I can't say I know a single person who works harder of Twitter and shows more passion about HIVE than Nathan.
@followbtcnews got another. You will see her on Twitter and HIVE as @crimsonclad. Her recent work to bring HIVE to the Beaxy exchange earned my vote. She should have had it already.
@gerber deserves a vote for all the development he does for LeoFinance and HIVE. When does a developer find time to self promote his witness node? I have no problem lending a hand.
And Now I Still Have 2 Witness Votes Remaining
Some votes were lost and some gained, which brings me right back to the open votes I started with.
So who else should I vote for 4 witness?
