Hi all,
they have done it and are promoted with one game still to play into EFL League 2, I purchased a game pass yesterday from National League TV just to have the possibility to watch the game and cross my fingers for the Wrexham Players, The owners but foremost for all of North East Wales :)
Watching Welcome to Wrexham has brought back a lot of the initial feelings I had in regards to football, long lost somewhere back in time along the way, so thanks a lot to all the people making this possible, especially the owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney for putting back stories into this wonderful game.
And what an underdog story that has proven to be...
So for all of you interested in sports, storytelling and in David/Goliath settings, give it a try, it will not let you down at all :)
I wish I would have been able to make it to Wrexham yesterday evening, I would bet that this was an unbelievable party.
I am looking forward to next season and the role that Wrexham will play in EFL League 2! And I am sure I will be going there a few times to get a pint in the Turf
