I might be late with this info a few days but i found the reaction by the crypto community so hilarious in this instance that i have to chime in.
Anything you see on HIVE is 100 times amplified in the wider crypto space. When ever someone is popular people start salivating over them because who doesnt want to be associated with a celebrity, maybe get them to like and retweet.
So once JK Rowling wrote her tweet about wanting someone to explain Bitcoin, all hell broke loose.
Everyone that is anyone showed up on her tweet to share some "wisdom" and ofc share with her some Bitcoin maximalist nonsense.
1 tweet later the altcoiners arrived to shill their own projects.
You had HEX shills, and ADA shills and even TRX shills coming in to share with Rowling the brilliance of their projects.
Im absolutely positive they succeeded.😂
Look...
Just because Rowling is a billionaire doesnt mean she is about to put her money into a highly speculative asset. She isnt someone that will buy hoping for riches or wants to "stick it to the gvrnmt".
See, while everyone is so hung up on "inflation bad" , "fiat bad" they forget one important thing. The power of the nation is behind the value of fiat currency.
In the case of the US dollar the power of the most powerful and most developed nation in the world is behind it.
And ill tell you right now, people like J.K Rowling that are as wealthy as she is, that are middle aged and might not adopt new tech as fast as younger folks, is not about to put trust in a unregulated, volatile asset and 5 mining pools somewhere in China over the safety banks and governments might provide.
If you have to first convince someone in your ideology for them to find value in your token, then your token is useless no matter its market cap.
You dont have to believe in the same thing i do to find value in #HIVE
