Hey awesome Hive people, wassup? It's that time of the week again when I share with you guys another #favouritecommentfriday or #fcf post. Hopefully some of you will be familiar with my community oriented project, which has been running for over three months. Each week I like to shine a spotlight on my favourite Hive comment or reply that I've come across during the week. The comment could have been made on one of my posts or it might have been posted on someone else's post, it honestly doesn't matter, just as long as the comment or reply has an awesome quality about it in some way.
The reason why I created this project is that I feel there is sometimes not enough appreciation for particular comments that deserve to be commended for their sheer awesomeness. They need the attention and justice they deserve. Therefore my #fcf initiative is a way of doing justice to that injustice!
I'm sure you guys know what I mean and have come across comments or replies that have stood out in some way and you've thought to yourself now that's a comment!
It would be really great if other Hivians would seriously consider joining in with this goodwill project, if you chose to you would be helping to spread some love around the community.
So let's have no further hesitation, for this week's favourite comment the highly coveted crown is awarded to @bleujay for a reply she made to my comment on one of her own posts regarding the principle that the greater your vocabulary the greater your ability to think - now that's a principle to get you thinking.
The post her comment is on can be found here - @bleujay/principle-of-the-daypresented-by-bleujay-sstca0
So here is the winning comment @bleujay left on that post.
Not only did the post @bleujay publish provoke a lot of musing from various community members it and not only did it get me thinking, her reply to my comment expanded my understanding on the famous philosopher Rene Descartes that I happened to mention in my comment to her. A fantastic example of how our community can broaden our understanding and enlighten us all not just through posts but via the magic power of comments. Thank you @bleujay for that comment.
For those of you unfamiliar with our awesome Hivian @bleujay I can not recommend a more fascinating and thought provoking blog as hers. She explores all sorts of moral based principles and applies them to the modern day world, which still have relevance today just as they did yesterday. Despite forces in society who would rather forget principles and moral compasses fortunately principles still matter to many. Fantastic work @bleujay.
I am setting this post to payout a 15% beneficiary payment to @bleujay.
Well good people of Hive that wraps things up for another week. I hope you appreciated my comment of the week just as much as I did. If my fellow Hivians would care to join in with my #favouritecommentfriday project and place a spotlight on a comment or reply which may have impressed you, made you chuckle or perhaps made you think deeply about something you hadn't thought of before then why not publish your own post. If you do make sure you use the tag #favouritecommentfriday or #fcf.
So please do think about participating in what I call a small festival of appreciation and gratitude, because that really is the whole point of my #favouritecommentfriday project. It's to show some genuine appreciation for someone else's extra special comment or reply and make them feel a little more appreciated.
Peace!
