(My first AI generated image created by the new Peakd AI image generator)
As some of you will know, lately I have been experimenting with AI image creations using the free membership you can access with Leonardo.ai. I have been sharing a lot of the results here on Hive. For me AI image generators are a game changer and can really help to bring your imagination to life.
So I login to Hive via Peakd today and what do I find? I spy something new and amazing. I don't know how long it's been there for but I am delighted we have it. Yup that's right @peakd has only gone and added an AI image generator all of its own. This is frickin awesome and I congratulate the @peakd devs for this very important and useful addition to the Hive experience.
To access the new feature simply go to the top navigation bar and click the pencil icon to bring up the post menu and scroll to the bottom, you can't miss it especially with a green box with the word NEW in it!
When I saw the AI Image Generation option I got very excited and simply couldn't resist, I had to use it immediately. It's very simple to use. Once you've clicked the AI Image Generation option at the bottom of the menu you are presented with the following screen.
Right at the top you have the image prompt field, simply type in the sort of image you're looking to produce. With the Peakd AI Image Generator you also have the option of choosing what image generator programme you want to use, there are 9 to choose from.
While I am no expert on AI image generators having only just started using them myself I know that Flux models are advanced imaged generators and with Hive you can now choose from 4 Flux models alone, in addition to the others you can see listed.
Once you have selected the model you wish to use for the creation of your image all you need to do then is select the size ratio.
Once you have done that you are good to go. All that is left for you to do is hit that GENERATE button and boom your image appears in next to no time.
And there it is the completed image, pretty slick eh? And the four words I used to create the picture was the iconic Hive blockchain. Which has just become more iconic thanks to this new AI functionality!
As you can see you get the option to simply copy your image or download it, either way it's your image to keep and use as you see best. There is a small cost for using this service but at 0.05 HBD per image creation I think that's a reasonable price really.
I decided to see if Hive could improve on my own image and branding and entered the words peace and money into the image prompt. I decided to go with the 9:16 tall aspect ratio for this one. This is what it came up with.
It's actually not a bad effort and just look at the quality of that image. The design can't be used for obvious reasons but it was nearly there.
The following image is better in terms of accuracy but I prefer the photo effect over the animation type AI images.
Of course it would not be correct to not give the Hive AI image generator a chance to produce an image for my Crypto & Cola Show so with those very words they entered the image prompt field and this is what I got.
LOL! What a very colourful and somewhat simple image but I do like it somehow and it does capture the show element very well. Just take a look at those cola cans at the back! Lol! Fantastic!
Anyway I shall continue to experiment with the new Peakd Hive AI image generator, it's great fund and can be a really helpful tool when it comes to producing graphics or images to help with projects. You guys should really give it a go and don't forget to post up some of your results.
