I made a Snap yesterday saying I was planning to consolidate the crypto I had in my main wallet and move all that value into Hive...

There's the first half.

And there is my utter disregard for any kind of HPUD.
I know it's not a LOT of money, but it's a step back to a place I should have been at these past 9 years.
I made the mistake of cashing out all my tokens when Steem was in its infancy.
It's not even about the USD value my account would have been reporting by now (9 years is a long time for compounding interest on a multi-thousand-coin balance), but all the time I could have been doing things to help new Hivers. I used to do initiatives of giving people upvotes for basic interactions with my posts, and I could have been spreading around a lot of Hive by now.
At least I've realized the errors of my ways, and now I'm here hoping to be a benefit to the chain.
As many gains as I may miss by getting out of BTC, the utility exists in Hive. The current valuation will pale in comparison to its future value once more people learn about the safety and security of Hive. Just look at the explosion of federated platforms lately. If those places can boom like they have, so can we!
Be seeing you out there!
