I Took the time to learn some formatting/coding tricks
...But posting an article, editing a vlog, or just putting together an interesting piece so that someone can understand and enjoy your message relies on many things other than just the written text you prepare.
Here is a list of some things I have learned:
- Centering
- Picture Resize
- Heading centering (I ran into a simple mistake you can avoid.)
- Link naming (like when you hit something that says "firewood" and it takes you to a firewood selling site)
- Picture caption text
- Link for downloading free hive line breaks
- and a lot of other basic stuff
- Snippets (saves you time)
Things I had to learn the hard way so you don't:
If you are putting in the command to center a word that you are also wanting to make a header
(header1-6) you have to put the beginning center command on its line then on the next line put your Header command in with your text.
Create Snippets and your life will be much easier. snippets are like quick keys for codes you need to change your posts' format. Take the time to make them! I'm talking to myself as well ๐ ๐คฃ๐
Don't be scared, and make time to learn!!
I cannot believe it took me this long to look up something that allows me to effectively improve the quality of my content. It was much more simple than I thought it would be. Not only does it improve my content, but it also makes it easier to create my content. It's more fun!!!
Also, my buddy @daltono informed me that if I put the word "markdown" in the peakd' search bar a bunch of guides will pop up.
Hope this helped!
When I center things sometimes the center effect doesn't end when I use the end center text () Command or whatever. It makes the whole post after centered.
Am I doing something wrong?
Comment if you can help.
