El Combate — Symbols in Tension
This is El Combate, one of the collages featured in my printed calendar.
At the center: two Hercules beetles in battle.
For me, they represent the inner conflict — that invisible tension between instinct and consciousness, strength and vulnerability.
Now that I see it printed in detail, the contrast feels even sharper.
A spiritual clash, a psychological echo.
What do you interpret from this piece?
Does it remind you of something internal or collective?
This collage is part of a signed, limited-edition calendar — just 24 made (now sold out). But the image lives on — in prints, in reflection, in conversation.
