Hello, hivers! I hope everyone is well. I can't thank you enough for your kind words and greetings. It gives me more confidence and eagerness to write my next meaningful piece of content that reflects my personal interests. As I mentioned in my previous post, I enjoy interior design and decoratin home improvement, and do-it-yourself projects.
My home town, Danao City, is a 2 hours commute going to Cebu Business Park, our office. It was very stressful commuting everyday combating the traffic and waiting for any available transportation. So I decided to rent an apartment and luckily I found a cheaper one in Tintay, Talamban, an uptown Barangay of Cebu City. The apartment is accessible to public commute and will take me around 20 to 30 minutes going to the office. It's a studio type room for only 3500 pesos per month (not too bad) including utilities. At first, I feel alone and homesick. It was a a hard transition living independently as I am used to always being dependent on my parents. I felt sad and started to missed home. But I left with no choice but to
stand on my own feet and become responsible.
I pause for awhile and think of something that will help me overcome my homesickness. I thought of decorating my small room, change the vibes and ambiance to feel it more homey. I invested time and effort in buying some stuff, accessories, small furniture and furnishing. And I did not expect it turn our very well. It is so nice going home after work seeing how cozy the new set-up is. It is very organized and comfortable. It feels like home back in Danao City.
As you can see, it will not cost a fortune to make your room beautiful. Think first about what type of person you are and your personality and then use it to make your space that speaks more about you. As long as it makes you happy and comfortable then go for it.
