TRAVEL
I slept surprisingly well the nigh before my travel π΄ and woke up super energetic and willing to get to Split. I drove from Γvora to Lisbon and check-in my car in a parking nearby π where a transfer van was expecting me. Soon after I was at the airport having a coffee, checking gates and reading posts of people already in Split. I flew from Lisbon to Rome and then to Split, where another transfer was already waiting for me. Very convenient as it drove me right to my booked apartment.
ACCOMODATION
I stayed in the Deluxe Apartments and Rooms Sarella. Nice location and way more appliances than I would need for a HiveFest stay. The decoration is super romantic and deserved a couple super in love π rather than a Hiveian looking for a place to rest the skeleton every night after a tiresome day.
By then, the opening drinks at the Paradiso bar had already started, so I basically put my bags down and headed to the bar! πΈ
PARADISO BAR
The first familiar face I saw was @gtg but he was on the phone and I didn't want to interrupt. We met soon after. In the bar I promptly saw @cryptospa with his big smile, and then @roelandp happily chatting with @brianoflondon. From that moment on, it's easy to guess what happened... one familiar face after another and a very pleasant evening trying to catch up with everyone. I spent most time with the german crew, @steevc and @forkyishere, my fellow countryman living in the antipods, New Zealand.

BACK TO THE APARTMENT
Everything was great but I knew a good night's sleep would make wonders so I grabbed a kebab from a small shop nearby and headed home. This time I walked slowly, enjoying the city and getting to know the surroundings.
