NEW STARTERS!
We begin this starter reveal with the Religious Visionary, one of the most original setups for your evacuation to the new galaxy!
Showing to us humans the path ahead, the religious visionary aims to gather up faithful survivors and settle a new colony of believers.
Promising them a new life and predicting "this was to come", he is quite fit for this apocalyptic time. He will help them endure this event and fulfill a more superior goal...
What goal?
Well of course that will be up to you to define it!
While the Religious Visionary is a "people manager" he will lack the full profile of the Elected Leader such as administrative skills and officers. The Elected Leader should be the one to get the best of all-around civilians. But the Religious Visionary has other advantages to play!
The Religious Visionary fulfills a specific role with cults and religions. Despite some limits in that area he will have a religious clerk with some limited skill in administration, and plenty other investigators and support.
Believers will fiercely opposed to non-believers - but who cares about non-believers? and are they not future believers after all, for the luckiest among them?
This new Origin will also benefit from sure ways to control his population: the Inquisition faction is among them. This is one of the new factions to appear in beta and it features additional investigators and firepower with the religious trait. And one of them will be available as one of his starter officers!
Also the Flesh Cult from alpha - to be slightly boosted in beta - are also proper candidate for citizens. The Religious Visionary is the suited Origin to support the Flesh Cult, after all.
But there is also more to find for the most involved players:
Boosters will also have the unique character Ravenna Shobel, one character important to get for a religious equipped starter. Or still interesting for any starter!
Ravenna is a character trained as Combat Inquisitor ; trained for battle and dangerous situations. This is a class strongly inspired by the Equilibirum movie... as veterans of the genre would notice!

We will this month give more details on starships and attributes and more information on starter fixed cards. And about all other Origin cards.
As you can guess, the Religious Visionary will have a synergy for characters ; and this time it will be a strong synergy with characters with the "Religious" trait. (called Religious Ties in alpha)
In alpha collection this definitely means your Flesh Cult members will get some attention as the Religious Visionary is a starter character.
In beta collection this means you should keep track of your inquisition members, as Religious starters have some but will keep a look for it too ; and they have room for Flesh Cult passengers, and inquisition crew!
All civilians will also get some attention.
And do not worry about other factions: from drachians, to nomads, geneticians, sunteks and rebels, and more such as achean gangs, there will be characters and boosts for all!
BETA PACKS!
Beta packs are making their big comeback this month!
This means a renewed access to all beta contract packs and boosters. And watch out: they will also feature the progressive price increase, as detailed last year. This means that the more packs are purchased, the more expensive the packs will get!
But this also means that your owned packs will get more value as time goes during beta, as you can always and easily undercut the shop!
EVAC UPDATES!
We have started a developer rush on 54 global tasks and features which are on our roadmap for mid-June.
Among these are numerous upgrades to our website, collection features and EVAC experience, and many new tutorials to come to help new players get into the world of 2325. Next month is the moment we will start our player growth strategy!
We have dedicated somee exceptional developer funds for this step, this is a big moment for EXODE, and we thank you all again for your patience in all these steps.
After Berlin, we will have most website & evac updates behind us - meaning we will switch our focus again on Colonization.
