Hello Hivers, we at Hivelist want to take a minute to let you know of a few changes that have been made to the Hivelist Store. We had to do some moving around with the site because we are working on consolidating the project to eventually be on one domain versus three. First one to be consolidated into the main .io domain is the Hivelist Store.
Store Domain Change
This will effect anyone who has listings posted anywhere for products on the Hivelist Store. We are letting the .store domain expire as the costs are just too much to warrant paying for it for another year. It's really an expensive TLD to pay for to be honest. So instead of Hivelist.store, it now lives at store.hivelist.io. If you are a Hivelist store vendor, you need to take special note of this change.
It should have been this way in the first place, but things got a bit crazy in the beginning of the project. You will still be able to access the store as normal through all of the Hivelist menu options as well as our post links from this point forward. The old domain is forwarding to the new store.hivelist.io subdomain until it expires.
Print On Demand Service Disconnect
When we moved the domain, this caused us to lose the automatic store connection with our print on demand service that we use. We are basically going to have to start from ground zero with these items, which is really not a bad thing. So all of the old products that were fulfilled by this service have been removed from the store. For those like the @stickupboys, @atomcollector of Rising Star, @dibblers.dabs and any other vendors that had print on demand products on the Hivelist store, these are now gone.
Most of these products haven't seen any sales in the last couple of years, so if you guys want some of the products restored, just let us know in the Discord. Beyond that, we are going to be starting fresh with our own line of products and designs that not only go through that service, but we are now going to be offering items that can be created in our new 3D printer factory!
Payment Changes
We have made yet another change to the payment offerings on the Hivelist store. We have added some new payment methods and dumped one that we didn't want in the first place!
That's right, we have dumped fiat payments from the store, again! This time we are just done with dealing in dollars and are back to being fully focused on crypto payments.
We have added a few new payment options, so now in addition to HBD, XMR, BTC, and BCH, we are now accepting ETH, BNB, and MATIC, as well as USDC, USDT, and DAI. All stablecoins are on either Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polygon. We believe that now more than ever, we need more businesses to accept and work off of the crypto ecosystem to help bring the space back to the original narrative of creating an alternative economy!
If we survive our 5th year, then great, we will continue. If not, and business doesn't improve well, we will have to take a look and evaluate where will will be going from there. Hopefully we can get back to doing business on the blockchain the way it was meant to be!
