Hello friends, how are you?
If I had the opportunity to bring back anything I wanted, it would undoubtedly be the best time I have ever lived in my life, which was the early 2000s. It's not because it's my generation, but I believe that my time was the best of all, because we were able to see almost everything that no longer exists today, such as video rental stores, Nokia cell phones that are indestructible, and also who has never spent hours and hours chatting on MSN with someone they had never met before?
Nowadays, it's very difficult to see children running and playing in the streets in big cities like they used to. In addition to the dangers that obviously also existed in the 2000s, but at least the violence wasn't as bad as it is now and our parents were more open-minded about letting their children run free in the streets to play for hours on end. I still remember my first day playing in the street when I had moved to live in the capital, it was really cool and we played ball, capture the flag and hide and seek. This lasted until the evening and it was really good.
It took me a while to get a computer, and my parents managed to buy one when I was about 15, I think. Today's children and young people will never know what it's like to try to get home early to watch their favorite cartoons, and mine was Dragon Ball Z. It was on every morning, and when Friday came, we would only watch it on Monday. Each day was a different reason to talk to friends about everything that happened with Goku and company.
Nowadays, children can watch anything at any time and anywhere. Imagine how anxious we were to get to Monday so we could watch the next episode? Well, there were thousands of things for us to do, and that's why this "anxiety" wasn't so great for us back then. I also remember that when I got home after school when I was younger, I would spend some time on the computer and it was sacred to play Need for Speed, Warcraft, and Age of Empires III. Well, it doesn't have to be in that order.
It was on MSN that I had my "first virtual girlfriend". (LOL), well... who hasn't, right? We spent a lot of time chatting about almost everything in the world and I would talk about her to my friends and we would dream that one day we would meet. Well, that never happened and I have no idea where she is now. Speaking of talking to friends, I really miss the time when I would sit in front of our houses and talk until late at night. Sometimes one of our parents would call us to go to bed and we knew that that was the moment to go home.
Since I currently live in another city, basically my childhood friends are far away from me and I miss talking to them. Of course, I can still call one or two of them and talk a little, but nothing compares to before, when we talked about everything and met in person. I sincerely miss that "warmth" of our friendship. Without a doubt, if I ever meet them again, I won't run out of things to talk about for years hahaha...
So, being able to have that freedom to go out and play, spend those moments with my friends and have that free time to do whatever I want without worrying about bills, responsibilities and without worrying so much about the next day. I miss that. Of course I can say that my childhood and youth were incredible, but if I could relive that time and bring it back, I would certainly do it. I was able to have good experiences from the past that helped me create incredible memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Se eu tivesse a oportunidade de poder trazer de volta qualquer coisa que eu quisesse, sem dúvidas seria a melhor época que eu vivi em toda minha vida que foi o início dos anos 2000. Não é porque se trata da minha geração, mas eu acredito que minha época foi a melhor de todas, pois conseguimos ver quase tudo que hoje nem existe mais como locadoras de vídeo cassete, celulares da Nokia que são indestrutíveis e também quem nunca passou horas e horas conversando no MSN com alguém que nunca tinha visto antes?
Hoje em dia é bem difícil ver nas grandes cidades, crianças correndo e brincando nas ruas como antigamente. Além dos perigos que obviamente também existiam nos anos 2000, mas pelo menos a violência não era tão grande como agora e nossos pais tinham uma mente mais aberta em deixar seus filhos soltos na rua para brincar por muitas horas. Lembro até hoje do meu primeiro dia que brinquei na rua quando eu tinha me mudado para morar na capital, foi muito legal e brincamos de bola, rouba bandeira e esconde-esconde. Durou até a noite isso e foi muito bom.
Demorei um pouco para ganhar um computador e meus pais conseguiram comprar quando eu tinha uns 15 anos, eu acho. As crianças e jovens de hoje nunca saberão como é a sensação de tentar chegar cedo em casa para conseguir assistir seus desenhos animados preferidos e o meu era Dragon Ball Z. Passava todos os dias de manhã e quando chegava na sexta, só assistiríamos segunda. Cada dia era um motivo diferente para conversar com os amigos, tudo que aconteceu com Goku e companhia.
Hoje em dia as crianças podem assistir a qualquer hora e a qualquer lugar. Imaginem nossa ansiedade para chegar logo a segunda feira e poder conferir o próximo episódio? Bem, existiam milhares de coisas para gente fazer e é por isso que essa "ansiedade" não era tão grande assim com a gente naquela época. Lembro também que quando eu chegava em casa depois da escola quando eu era mais jovem, passava um tempo com o computador e era sagrado jogar Need for Speed, Warcraft e Age of Empires III. Bem, nem precisa ser nessa ordem.
Foi no MSN que eu tive minha "primeira namorada virtual". (LOL), bem... quem nunca né? Passávamos muito tempo conservando sobre quase tudo no mundo e eu ficava falando dela para os meus amigos e a gente sonhava que um dia a gente iria se encontrar. Bem, isso nunca aconteceu e não faço ideia onde ela está agora. Por falar em conversar com os amigos, sinto muita falta da minha época que eu ficava sentado na frente das nossas casas e conversávamos até altas horas da noite. Às vezes um dos nossos pais chamavam a gente pra ir dormir e sabíamos que aquele momento já era pra entrar em casa.
Como atualmente moro em outra cidade, basicamente meus amigos de infância estão bem longe de mim e sinto falta de conversar com eles. É lógico que um ou outro eu ainda consigo ligar e falar um pouco, mas nada se compara como antes onde a gente falava de tudo e era presencial nosso encontro. Esse "calor" da nossa amizade eu sinceramente sinto muita falta. Sem dúvidas se um dia eu encontrar com eles, assunto é que não irá faltar por anos hahaha...
Então, poder ter aquela liberdade de sair pra rua e brincar, ter aqueles momentos com meus amigos e ter aquele tempo livre de fazer o que quiser sem se preocupar com boletos, responsabilidades e sem se preocupar tanto com o dia seguinte. Eu sinto falta disso. É lógico que eu posso dizer que minha infância e juventude foram incríveis, mas certamente se eu pudesse resgatar aquele tempo e trazer de volta, certamente eu faria isso. Pude ter boas vivências do passado que me ajudaram a criar incríveis lembranças que carregarei por toda minha vida.
