As I have discussed previously I have been using HMX to create part of a hedged portfolio that generates fees using a market neutral approach and HMX was a good candidate as it uses GMXs GLP pools for BTC and ETH as well as USDC only which makes it simple to hedge as only BTC and ETH need to be hedged with short perp futures to collect the carry which can be substantial up to a hundred percent plus on the position which is essentially a very good risk to reward position as it has the long side covered such as we stake Solana as well as short solana on HMX or GMX depending on which has the higher funding rates but HMX with all its extra incentives as its a newer platform usually wins. They also offer TLC points for trading volume and reward pro rata the trading volume each week from a pool. This week I received about 30 dollars worth in a air drop and next week my volume was substantially more so I should receive more than that if I maintain or increase my status on the leaderboard as im number 14 some how. My hedging account is not that big but I did use some margin and that may explain the large volume I had.
