When we bought our cabin it had one single 50 gal barrel attached to the back of the cabin for rain catchment. Water entered the cabin through a PVC pipe from the side of the cabin and fed by gravity. Over time water rotted away a section of our siding. We are now replacing the siding and building a completely revamped rain catchment system.
