Chickens that is and I mean this in the most loving way possible of course. So sorry I haven't been around the past few days to check in with everyone. At the moment I still work a full time job on top of pursuing a sustainable homestead business with my husband so time is very precious and has to be used efficiently. Are you some one that still works in the corporate world while chasing your own goals? How many of my you do social media only for a living? Let me know in the comments section how you find balance between the two.
This past week on steemit has been amazing for me. Thank you for all of the support on my last blog. I really appreciate you all understanding the occasional quick hello. This evening I get to help out around the homestead after work. My husband does so much around here while I'm gone most of the day hustling trying to make things happen. My husband and I are very goal oriented and motivate each other to accomplish our goals.
I managed to snap a few pictures of the gang prior to cooking dinner. This evening I made fresh Brussels sprouts to accompany our meal. I tossed them with a little bit of olive oil and a blend of herbs and spices, and roasted them at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. They came out great. Honestly, I don't know why more people don't like them. They are so tasty and filling. Let me know what your thoughts are on Brussels in the comments below. This is just one of many ways we prepare them, but I'd love to read your favorite way of making them. Other than throwing them in the trash!
