So here it is the definitive guide to making the perfect cup of tea. I've seen a lot of weak attempts in my time and it's time to set the record straight!
Step 1: Which Tea?
This isn't even a question but if it were, the answer is and always will be Barry's Gold Blend Tea. None of that Lyons or PG tips shite.
Step 2: Get Your Favourite Cup.
Pretty simple, get a decent mug and move on to step 3.
Step 3: Boil The Kettle.
Make sure the water is pipping hot and not a second before.
Step 4: Stick The Teabag In The Cup.
Again, self explanatory, if you fuck this bit up I'll be impressed.
Step 5: Fill The Cup With Boiling Water.
Fill up the cup to about 70% of the cup, remember that you'll e removing the tea bag so you'll have more space but you'll also be adding milk. Don't overfill is what I'm trying to say.
Step 6: Wait.
Wait for the tea to go dark, a good trick to know if it is strong enough is to put a spoon in the cup. Under normal light conditions, if you can't see the bottom of the spoon your tea is ready.

Step 7: REMOVE THE TEABAG
Can't over stress this. Don't be lazy, remove the tea bag.
Step 8: Add Milk.
Less is more here lads, a drop of milk is more than enough. Don't be the guy with the milky cup of tea.
Step 9: This Colour.
This is the ideal colour of tea! should not be any lighter than this. If it is you've ruined a perfectly good cup and should feel bad and start again.
Step 10: Snacks
Enjoy with some crisp sandwiches or a biscuit.
Bonus Step:
Enjoy while watching Michael Collins for extra points!
