What is HPUD?
HPUD stands for Hive Power Up Day. It's just a way to show your support for this amazing community by turning some of your liquid HIVE into Hive Power (HP) through a process called Powering Up. It simply means you lock up your HIVE and thus gain a little more voting power, a little more curation rewards and a little more HP dividends on your holdings.
The amount of HP you hold also gives you a sea-creature themed rank that goes from Red Fish to Whale:
Red Fish = less then 500 Hive Power
Minnow = at least 500 but less then 5000 Hive Power
Dolphin = at least 5000 but less then 50,000 Hive Power
Orca = at least 50,000 but less the 500,000 Hive Power
Whale =at least 500,000 Hive Power and above
This is a rounded up version, as it is actually calculated in Vests. 489.964 HP = 1,000,000 Vests.
at 23,976,504 Vests, Recording Box is at dolphin level and aiming towards Orca by the end of 2022.
