Is it just me or is it kinda funny that in 3.0, the best caster will be a meaty ol' Karui Berserker, and the best Wander attacker will be a Pathfinder?
These ascendancies provide the quality of life that is sorely needed for Witch. Berserker: Spell leech or, mana sustain through war cries. Pathfinder: movement speed. Which on wanders is generally a big QoL issue, along with all the usual ele attack stuff.
I get that PoE is a bit of a sandbox and I totally love that Marauder spell casters and Ranger wanders are a thing. This is what truly sets it apart from rigid itemization games like D3. But at the same time, its kinda weird for a new user to pick a witch with some basic archetype expectations only to realize, well, nah, in this case, it's different.
On the plus side, at least Witch is the best summoner for now. Most newbs I know who like summoner play style roll witch and aren't disappointed!
At the risk of inviting the pitchforks, I feel like Witch should get some serious spell mana cost reductions, and maybe we could get something better than quicksilver flasks of adrenaline (movement flask of movement) or lightning warp for wanders?
