First of all we are participating in ICOs as any other investors. Sometimes it is public sales, sometimes any forms of presales. As you know in crypto world hype around project is one of the key factors that influence the price of the token after listing. From the very beginning the rating below was done for our internal use. As a rule Telegram group and channel is the most important media platform to communicate with target audience and inform about ICO. Many projects think that if they will have many followers in telegram it means that they have achieved certain level of hype. Some of them buy followers some of them doing airdrops or bounty programs in order to increase the number of followers.
In order to understand how many real investors are in the group we developed a formula that calculate keywords used in specific group. We spend some time on testing different combinations of key words and finally have a set that can show the real picture of the interest among investors. The projects are rated by number of relevant keywords (4 blocks of keywords: tokenmetric, presale, product, crowdsale) that were used in Telegram groups.
