Yesterday, I heard from @gmuxx about his new initiative to help shine a light on new Steemians, in order to help my fellow fledgling minnows gain a nice little initial following from more exposure than they would get by posting alone and hoping that their post gets seen by many.
I was all in on the idea from the start, because I myself have been bringing several of my friends to the Steem blockchain, and the biggest hope I have is that those friends would gain a nice following and experience the same kind of success, if not more, that I have had since I started out on Steemit.
So without further ado, I'd like to introduce you all to my friend, @causanova:
He has been on Steemit for 6 days now, and his first post ever was a piece about Net Neutrality, which you can find here. Right off the bat he started off doing well, because that first post of his made $5 within the first half hour, and then $10 within the first hour, and went up to $16 within three hours of being posted.
He finally just made his #introduceyourself post today, which you can read by clicking on his user banner above. He titled it "I used to sell drugs, now I give a shit." It is by far the best introduction post I have read on Steemit in a long while. He starts off by going into his personal family history and how his parents met and what they were like. He goes into how the mentality they carried with them into parenthood made life a challenge for him but shaped him into who he is today.
He then talks about the trials and tribulations he has experienced over the course of his life, as well as his time getting in trouble with the law and how that has really affected his progress in life. He mentions how his legal fees and charges have caused him to put his pizza business on hold for a while, but he is determined to get it started back up soon.
He talks about how he studies chemistry and loves all sciencey things, and he goes into the things he is passionate about and plans on posting about here on Steemit, like cannabis, food, and music.
