As you know, Armenia intensively promotes the idea of digitalization of the economy, realizing that the development of the country is impossible without the introduction and use of new technologies. As if confirming the opinion of Armenia, various global companies are also seeking to introduce new technologies into their work.
One of the leading financial companies, ”MasterCard”, has thus won a patent for the development of a system that allows you to launch different types of blockchains.
So why does MasterCard need it? The thing is that companies or groups of organizations may need to store and use different types of transactional information on the same platform. Currently it is rather difficult to realize via only one simple blockchain.
MasterCard offers a special method of generating blocks for a permissioned blockchain which provides storage for diverse information in various blocks.
According to the technology developers, it is necessary to find a solution for the so-called "sectional" blockchain, that will make it possible to store various formats and types of transactions in a single distributed ledger.
This will reduce the requirements on computing resources for the deployment of blockchains and the implementation of the operations in them, and also "optimize the permitting system in the permissioned blockchains”.
Interestingly enough, a partitioned blockchain can receive information about different types of transactions from various computing devices. These partitions store information about a particular currency type or various types of data that are absent in other subnets.
Global companies are also looking for new ways of using highly demanded blockchain technology, and this is happening ubiquitously in all countries and in various industries. And this is only the beginning…
