Hi everyone in this article I will tackled the legality and my perspective on the IOVO team and their ICO structure. But first let me give you a background start up on what should we check on them. I would like to emphasize that in every start up ICO project, the crucial elements to deal with, is the project team and its crowdsale structure. ICO investor's risks are not only confined with those who encountered or experience a fraudulent ICOs but also a chance that project is a total scam at all and you're end up with worthless tokens on your wallet. I know that you don't want that to happen to you.
Most importantly, a legit ICO never make such promises about profit, gains, and dividend. Instead, focusing on selling their working product in a decentralized application.
Usually, signs of a legit project can be seen on technical parameters such as website design, roadmap, whitepaper which include, design, structure, and well written content explaining their project. Let me share you some of my normal routine to quality check the project's legality and seriousness to pulled of an ICO. My checking is quite simple and probably you can do much deeper due diligence than mine. Go to the project website, check the structure of the content. Usually, you can have a hint of serious project by the details around every corner of their website. Also, hang on their social media channels such as telegram, twitter or medium. Usually, project has recent and frequent update of their project. If you found nothing suspicious then, its good. But my most favorite part are always checking on the team's competency and legality. Always make a thorough investigation of the team members especially the key members or those top management.
Questions like these below should satisfy you upon your research.
Team members really exist?
Are the team members are qualified and competent to fulfill this project?
Find any sort of social account to confirm if they are really the team members and not just using someone's professional account.
On their website, team profile link on their social account is a must! LinkedIn is one good source which we can verify their existence as well as the experience they had before. The investigation not stop there, on their profile you must check it carefully and make sure that the account is real and not just a dummy one.

IOVO WEBSITE CONTENT REVIEW
Okay let's start now the review of IOVO website. I already checked the website of IOVO and I can say that so far all important details are there such as brief introduction of the project's concept, token sale details, working product, whitepaper, roadmap, team profile, social links of their social channels, and some videos about the project promotion. On another note, the website url isn't displaying an https for secured browser upon visiting the site, some will think of it as not secured website. Hope the team can fix it soon for more confidence while the presale is LIVE. But overall impression, I like the structure of the website. Plain, simple, catchy and well explained on the content as well. Good Job!

IOVO TEAM AND ADVISOR

As you can see, the IOVO team starting from from the Founder/CEO to other members have all social accounts especially linkedin except from four members. I think these persons should be have a social accounts especially some of them are blockchain developers. Their expertise should be exposed in public so we can know their qualifications on handling project like this. As I mentioned on my introduction, this is a key point to know the project capacity. Quite noticing some of the advisers as well are well known blockchain enthusiasts. This is an added feature on their project as trusted adviser are part of the project.

This is the one I mentioned. At least, their social account is visible on the public. Based on the Founder profile, he has different work before which we can say still related on blockchain and data ventures. Also, for the other team members. Good to know!

IOVO ICO TOKEN STRUCTURE

As you can see, the private sale already started last October 25, 2018 and probably missed the chance to avail the 20% discount bonus set by the team. The team is conservative on giving bonus on this stage as 10% interval per week is designed for early bird purchasers. This is good, but the interval for me is quite big considering a week spaced for each round. The total supply is 1 billion and 30% of it is allocated on the private sales and only 10% for public sales. Meaning, early bird really catches the worm for their ICO. 10% without any bonuses could be easily achieved I think, once presale stage raise fund confirm their sales a s for the IOVO private sales. Im sure they will hit the hardcap soon.
The team and advisor tokens are 20% of the total supply and that's a huge tokens. I hope the team and advisor's token are vested for long time or yet they can distribute it gradually. Approximately, almost 3mos set for the ICO stage and that is actually enough time to pulled of an ICO with this concept. The ICO structure is impressive giving benefit that eliminates the greed effect of an open cap and bypasses the paradox often seen with a fixed cap. Great decision team!

OVERALL RATING OF IOVO
The overall rating for the project are added based on different aspect discussed above resulting to 4.63 /5.0 which clearly a good mark for an ICO. I can't say that their project is perfect but not a bad one either. This is just my perspective on analyzing an ICO based on the project's output. Also, the concept of IOVO is a win win idea for me. Maybe, I'll make again an article after the end of the presale stage to weight the interest of investors with regards to the project.
