🔜 Barthor (BRC)
Barthor is a decentralised, open-source crypto project with their own blockchain. Their main goal is to build a secure and stable currency which is suitable for mass adoption. It´s a self-funded, community-driven project which aims for fair and equal distribution amongst the community.
95% of the genesis block will be distributed to the community; the remaining 5% will be used by the team as a marketing budget. These distributions will be made through an ERC-20 token, later on, when all tokens will be distributed, Barthor will initiate a token swap from the ERC-20 token to their own Barthor token. By doing this, they aim to secure that their blockchain is a stable network with masternodes and stakers, right from the beginning. In addition to platforms, which have a integrated affiliate program, "Barthor Core Wallet" will also come with this feature. Every affiliate will be rewarded with 15% of the generated profits through their referred masternodes or staker.
The primary goal of Barthor is to create a currency which is ready for mass adoption. The main issue at the moment is the high fluctuation and unstable prices are what hold cryptocurrencies back from this adoption. Barthor will create a big network of online platforms in all kind of areas (E-Learning, Online shopping, Advertising and others) on their own. Each one of this platforms will accept Barthor, amongst other cryptocurrencies, at a rate of at least $3 per coin. Offering a stable rate and enough merchants, who accept the currency for this price, will result in some kind of fixed price at around 3$ on exchanges and other platforms.
To generate revenue, platforms like Barthor ADS, Barthor NEWS and others will provide ad spaces for companies to advertise. Barthor will give some of that generated profit back to the community for clicking on the ads and inviting friends to those platforms. A reward system like this will be implemented on every Barthor platform where it is possible, by doing this, they aim for brighter adoption through motivation for the community to widen it.
The first Barthor platform is aimed to go live at the end of Q1 2019, the token swap from the initial ERC-20 token to the Barthor coin is targeted to start at the end of Q2 2019.

Barthor´s approach is excellent and recollects blockchain to what it supposed to be - A secure, anonymous and community-driven solution for everyone. However, until now there is neither an MVP nor detailed plans. The whitepaper has short information about the technical part, while the rest of their presentation appears quite professional. Since it is a self-funded project and does not require any investment, we would still recommend everyone to take part because if executed correctly Barthor can have a bright future.
