What does Dxchain do?
Dxchain is developing a decentralized big data and machine learning network. Simple Dxchain can be used to store and trade data and reduce lots of costs involved.
Currently, only big organisations have the share of the data market because of the big hardware expenses small companies can't afford and only big organisations owns most of the existing consumer data.
What Dxchain does is take the control from the big organisation and hand over the control of the data over to data producers.
Let's say if you use Google maps /Navigator, your data of local migration is purchased and utilised by local marketers through google. So, even if you have not asked for you can see local google adds popping up through your mobile devices.
what if, if you were able to control this data which goes to the hands of big giants like Google and rather you incentivised for sharing this data with your consent :-)

*How is Dxchain different from Google and Facebook with respect to consumer data handling *
DxChain never collect data without the permission of the end user.
FB or Google, they collect the data from the end user, and they collect data, and they use the data to make huge money. But in DxChain, there are two roles in DxChain, data providers and data collectors. Data collectors pay DxCoin to data providers, and data provides the data to data collectors, DxChain helps them make the dial.

Dxchain uses “chains-on-chain structure” - manages the master chain, storage side-chain and computation side-chain, to reach the consensus and to provide the incentive mechanism

Computation -Golem is another blockchain project which focuses on cloud computing and helps in utilising the hardware and rendering capabilities of unused computer power and makes 3D Rendering more cheaper and incentivize the lenders who lend computers to be remotely used by media companies.
Hadoop has solved the issue of distributed storage of data within an organization or company.
but the problem of how to achieve trust between different organizations and participants in order to achieve distributed storage remains unsolved by Hadoop
Hadoops map reduce technology will be applied to reduce latency issues.

Current Performance comparison of Hadoop vs Dxchain:
For pure data analysis step, DxChain is about 2-3 times slower than hadoop. If we put it on the whole pipeline, DxChain is faster since it could collect data because a pipeline of data analysis consists of data collection, data cleaning, data analysis and reporting. Among all these four steps, data analysis might take the least time.
DxChain provides decentralised big data and machine learning computation with the support of decentralised data storage.
