Most of us get a bad feeling when we think about exams. We feel the tension and the fear, and it reminds us of late nights in which we had to stay up to learn everything needed before an upcoming exam. This is a school like mentality, but I do believe we need to learn to appreciate the concept of exams, or maybe said in a better way, the chance to see where we are at.
"Exams are not just a test of knowledge; they are a journey through the landscape of one's understanding, where the terrain of preparation meets the challenges of assessment, revealing the map of one's dedication and the compass of resilience."

I do believe that testing yourself is necessary to get a good picture of where you are at. An exam will test your skills and your knowledge, and it will also help you look at skills you have such as preparation and actually answering well on such a test. There are so many benefits of this, but the most important that I want to focus on here is actually finding out where you are at.
An exam tests you and shows you where you are at... have you learned what is needed, or are you not really doing well? This is where the rubber hits the road. And that is why even those working in home office and never meeting people needs these places where they get out and actually meet the world and get to test their skills... it is useful, it is helpful, and I believe it is needed!
