Hey there my fellow Steemians!
This is the latest update regarding the STEEM-powered hackathon synt.hacks that a group of passionate and enthusiastic students are organising. If you aren’t sure what is happening right now, check out this post https://steemit.com/programming/@sqamemal/steem-powered-hackathon-can-we-do-it
by my friend and co-organiser @sqamemal.
In brief, me and a few of my classmates are organising a hackathon to promote the younger generations to show their programming talents and to educate them about the young but rapidly-evolving world of cryptocurrency.
Now that you are all up to speed, I am happy to announce that we have got a wonderful response towards this hackathon. With more than 50 participants signed up within the first two days, synt.hacks is really picking up STEEM (pun intended)!
Heres a few things that you can do for us to help make this event a phenomenal success.
- Stay tuned to all of our posts about synt.hacks
- Resteem this post so that we can spread the word to everyone.
- If you feel generous, you could send any amount of SBD/STEEM to me or my friend @sqamemal. Remember even the smallest donations help.
- Writing a post about this initiative and tag us.
- Or just by being a good steemian for the new users!
Now you may wonder why you should contribute to synt.hacks. Well, we are going to use the funds that we collect not only to host the entire event and pay for logistics but we are also giving prize money to the winners in the form of STEEM! This means that we are bringing new users to our ever growing community here at Steemit. Do keep in mind, that 100% of the SBD generated by this post will be used in synt.hacks.
I really appreciate you guys getting to the end of this post. My friend @sqamemal and I are looking forward to any responses that you have! Stay tuned for everything regarding synt.hacks either on Steemit or on our very own website which you can access here http://www.synt-hacks.org/.
This Steem-powered hackathon is slowly becoming a reality!
